Scalloped Brackets or Crimped Gill ( Plicatura crispa ) on Silver Birch
Should have rudimentary gill folds on the underside apparently. Most look if found again.
First recorded in Norfolk about three years ago and this is the possibly the fifth or sixth record.
Thanks to Tony Leech for information.
Root Fomes ( Heterobasidion annosum )
Must remember to photo from different angles.
The visible gills on the underside give a clue to this species.
Ochre Brittlegill ( Russula ochroleuca )
Fenugreek Stalkball ( Phleogena faginea )
Must remember to smell them next time.
Many thanks again to James Emerson @Norwichbirder for ID help on the shrooms.
