Two juvenile Glaucous Gulls - Larus hyperboreus
Glaucous from the Latin - ' a bluish-green or grey.
Larus from the Latin - probably - 'a gull or large seabird.'
hyperboreus is the Latin for 'northern' from the Ancient Greek Huperboreoi - 'people from the far north'.
